After receiving notification that my child has made the team, how do I go about committing to the team?To secure your player’s spot on the roster, a non-refundable commitment deposit of $100 for the fall season or $150 for the spring season must be submitted. This deposit will be deducted from the total team fee. Players will receive a link to confirm their commitment to the team and submit the deposit. Please note that the commitment fee must be paid before uniforms can be ordered.
-
What are the distinctions between the two payment choices available for my team fee?Full Payment Option: Opting for this choice means you will receive an invoice for the entire amount owed. Upon receipt of the invoice via email, simply click the "Pay Now" button to complete the payment securely on our website. Recurring Payment Option: If you select this option, the remainder of your team fee will be divided into 2 bi-weekly installments for the fall season or 4 bi-weekly installments for the spring season. An initial payment email will be sent to you, and your card will be automatically charged every two weeks until the balance is settled. Please note, the recurring payment option is available for a limited time only; full payment must be received before the season's first scheduled tournament. If you opt for recurring payments but do not set them up within the specified timeframe, you will receive an invoice for the full team fee amount.
-
When will I receive my invoice to pay the remainder of the team fee?Your invoice will be sent within one week after the commitment deposit is due. Payment of the commitment deposit is necessary to receive your final invoice.
-
How do I pay the remainder of my team fee?For the convenience of our parents, all payments must be processed through our secure website. No other forms of payment will be accepted. You have two payment options for the remaining team fee: full payment or recurring payments. Please indicate your preferred option when completing the commitment form.

-

What does "bracket play" mean? After pool play is completed, teams are "seeded" into a bracket based on their rankings. Once seeded, the tournament continues with bracket play until the championship game of that bracket. Most tournaments are single elimination, meaning a team will play until they either reach the championship game or lose. Some tournaments are double elimination, allowing a team to lose one bracket game and still have a second chance to continue in bracket play.
-
How many tournaments will be played? The Right Way Baseball teams usually participate in 3-6 tournaments in the fall and 8-12 tournaments in the spring, depending on the age group.
-
Where can tournament rules be found? The tournament rules can be found on the tournament organization’s website.
-
Who determines the game times, and when will they be posted?Game times are determined by the tournament director and are usually announced to teams on the Wednesday of the tournament week. However, game times may be released earlier or later than this. Players will be notified of game times as soon as we receive the information, via GroupMe.
-
What does it mean when a tournament didn’t “make”?A tournament may be canceled if the minimum number of teams, usually 3, do not register in a particular age group. Although this situation is rare, we will make every effort to find an alternative tournament on the same scheduled date. These changes can sometimes be last-minute, but we will keep all players informed as best as we can. It is important to stay updated on GroupMe for any tournament changes.
-
What does "pool play" mean?Tournaments begin with "pool play" games, which are typically assigned at random among the registered teams. These games determine each team's ranking for the tournament based on several factors, including wins, losses, runs allowed, and runs scored. After all pool play games are completed, teams are placed in a bracket according to their rankings. The number of pool games per tournament varies by type but is usually between 2-4 games.
